Water Fun –Without Getting Wet
We are not just about swimming…..water skiing….snorkeling…….We have lots to do in Destin during the winter, too. Board the “Buccaneer“, Destin’s Premier Pirate Ship with the little mateys if you dare to test your sword skills against Commodore Courageous and the crew. We promise, they won’t make you walk the plank – we don’t think. Cruise the Emerald Coast in search of treasure or just a great time. Open all year round, winter is a great time to hit the open seas with fellow pirates.
If you prefer to catch fish rather than treasure, book a 1, 2, or 3 day fishing excursion into the Gulf of Mexico. They don’t call us “The Luckiest Fishing Village” without reason. Fish for Red, White or Black Snapper, Grouper, Jacks or Mackerel. They will even supply the gear, the fishing license and clean your catch. We promise – they won’t make you walk the plank either – we don’t think.
SunQuest Cruises offer Friday, Saturday and Sunday Dinner Cruises with live music for a 3 hour tour. On New Year’s Eve, the Chef will prepare a 5 course culinary delight to ring in the New Year aboard the Solaris complete with a Midnight Champagne Toast. The cruise takes you into the bay where fireworks can be viewed – compliments of those who are stuck on land. Book early – no one under 21 allowed.

Back on land, enjoy a quiet evening meal at Dewey’s Harborside…………our seafood is fresh-caught. Enjoy the Florida sunsets and waterfront view from the deck.
It’s never too cold here for GOLF!
Visit one (or all) of our courses that will have you basking in the warm sun by the waterfront with 18 holes at Kelly Plantation. Dine at our club or enjoy Happy Hour on Fridays. Either way, it will feel great to be back in the “swing” of things.
